Steve, Andrew and Ronan founded Altium Investments in 2018 to reflect their joint belief that investment management should be reconstructed in favour of investors and end clients. We are focused on fair pricing, transparency and investment efficiency.
We advise professional investors on asset allocation, fund selection and where appropriate, index construction and factor strategies.
We have a unique combination of experience, having spent our careers to date in asset management, actuarial consulting, legal, and banking. Together we have been responsible for the creation of investment strategies and products with over $10bn in AUM.
Now we have created Altium to operate in a completely new way. We are amongst the first firms in the world to offer insitutional investment advice on a fixed fee basis. This means that as assets grow the benefits accrue entirely to the investors

Ronan Kearney – Director
Ronan has built a significant and distinguished career in Retail Financial Services and Asset Management since 1994. He graduated from London Business School with an MBA in 2002 and also holds fund management qualifications. He has been on the Investment Committee of Verbatim Asset Management for the past 8 years and has wide asset allocation experience. Ronan founded Indexx Markets (an independent index design firm) in 2011 and sold it in 2015 to AJ Bell Ltd. Ronan is responsible for investment design and the operations of the Group.
Andrew Thompson – Director
Andrew has 29 years’ experience in investment management and distribution specialising in the construction and delivery of investment solutions for professional clients. Previously a Business Partner and Head of UK Retail for Sarasin & Partners, London. Also Head of Strategic Distribution and Investment Solutions for Sarasin & Partners. Andrew spent 11 years at Morley Fund Management principally engaged in distribution management roles, where he established Morley’s UK Wholesale business and managed the firm’s largest strategic client relationships including Norwich Union. Andrew is responsible for managing all key client relationships for the Group.
Steve Milne – Director
Steve has over 20 years’ experience as a city lawyer, specialising in commercial contracts and advising a wide range of businesses, from entrepreneurs to multi-nationals. Steve became a partner at the age of 30 and founded the commercial, media and technology team at Memery Crystal LLP. Steve has been involved with a number of financial services businesses, ranging from a financial advisor network to individual advisory firms and an index design operation
Steve is responsible for all legal and compliance aspects of the Group.
